Peter Tatchell was in Russia over the weekend and took part in Moscow Pride, contrary to the wishes of the local mayor who had banned the event. Peter also achieved a significant success this weekend, when the President of Malawi pardoned two gay men. Tatchell was instrumental in drawing the world's attention to the case - a fact not mentioned in this BBC report.

Yesterday Tatchell was one of the guests on
The Politics Show via a live link from Moscow. The topic under discussion was the recent resignation of David Laws, and the surrounding circumstances.

Tatchell: .... on the issue of him saying that he wanted to keep his homosexuality secret - well, I believe that someone's sex life is a private matter. But I don't believe, in this day and age, a person's sexual orientation should be a private matter any more than their race, their religion or any other aspect of their lives. You know, we've moved on from the 1950's. We're not in the Dark Ages any more ....

Reflection and refraction:(

Doing reflection and refraction on all the chess pieces made the rendering time sooooo long.....Even one image will take up to 14 hours!!!
I can only change them into diffuse. WHAT A PITY :(

Too many vertices

There are too many vertex points, it takes me hours to render only one image:(...I have to reduce them...

Many college students have different kinds of problems about finding jobs which they want. Though they have strength to do, they didn’t achieve the ideal result. That’s because they don’t make full use of their networks and contacts or they don’t know how to apply for a job. People will not get the full information about them. What you are good at? What you have to show to others? That is the point. This report uses several examples of applying jobs to analyse three different sized companies: small, medium and large. And discuss how to make the good use of our networks and contacts to find the companies which we are interested in working with in the future. Also, we should get a better understanding of what constitutes a small, medium or large company. In general, you should know how the companies work, what kind of persons with abilities they are seeking, how to show them your talent to meet their needs. In these ways, you will increase the possibilities which you can be hired from the employers in the future. Good talent and work need to be shared. Resources should be fully used.

Review: Fatal Frame 4

Fatal Frame has always been a game of two conflicting halves: the cold-sweat creep through the murk juxtaposed against brisk head-to-heads with J-horror phantoms. When these anti-Caspers materialise, out comes the Camera Obscura, entombing the spooks on celluloid. But while the teeth clench as ghost proximity is risked for stronger snaps, the sudden fizzing to life of an exhaustive points breakdown – a mess of onscreen commentary – is guaranteed to instantly deflate the situation.

Environmental Storytelling

Half Life is an excellent example of cause and effect elements triggered by actions of the game player.
Quake 3 Arena demonstrates the increasingly dramatic and realistic nature of 3D technology.Q
FPS (First Personal Shooting Game) gives people the most perfect gaming experience. So I decided to bring the FPS idea into my visual essay program to make it  more convincing and attractive.

Virtual Enivornment (VE)

The Cross Section modifier creates a “skin” across multiple splines. It works by connecting the vertices of 3D splines to form a skin. The resulting object is another spline object that can be used with the Surface modifier to create a patch surface. These two modifiers, when used together , are sometimes referred to collectively as “Surface Tools. ”

wire frame

Wireframes allow for stylistic variations of website layouts. Stylistic elements such as colors, fonts and brand may change without affecting the validity of the wireframe. After finding so many examples of them, I found that wireframe should be creative and reasonable, it cannot be unnecessary. Many of them are very differ from each other.
