Assignment Two

Title: Portfolio

Task:

Produce a portfolio that showcases your development as a multimedia practitioner. It is expected that you will use work produced for your Multimedia Pathway, and any external multimedia work you may have done or be doing, to frame the demonstration of your development. Your p ortfolio should contain finished pieces but should also show work in progress and your design development process.

Background:

It is a very good idea to obtain work placement experience during your degree. Ideally you should send copies of your finished portfolio to the organisations and practitioners you identified in Assignment One. Whilst obtaining a placement isn’t part of the assignment submission, the assignment is designed to help you do something that you should be personally considering anyway.

Aims:

You should seek to both demonstrate your specific pathway skills, technique and understanding and to contextualise your personal development in regards to your current or desired position in the multimedia industry. This should be through the inclusion of appropriate work.
